This policy explains what personal data eBazar collects, why, and the rights you have over it under the GDPR.

Who is responsible for your data

eBazar is the data controller for the personal data you give us. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights below, email support@ebazar.ie.

What we collect

Account details — your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Order details — the items you buy, your delivery or collection choice, and your delivery address and phone number.
Payment — handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference, never your full card number.
Usage — basic information about how the site is used, to keep it working and to improve it.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

To take and fulfil your orders and to run your account — because it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
To send order and delivery updates — also to perform our contract.
To send marketing emails — only where you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
To keep the site secure and meet our legal and tax obligations — our legitimate interests and legal duties.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed to get your order to you and to run the shop: our courier to deliver your parcel, Stripe to take payment, and our email provider to send you order and account messages. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes, and account data until you ask us to close your account. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email support@ebazar.ie. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in, remember your basket and wishlist, and keep the site secure. We do not use them to track you across other websites.
